One thing I have always wanted to learn is hand lettering and calligraphy. The style suits what I want to achieve when designing but no matter how many attempts I had, I could never get the proper control and flow of the style.
When approaching a brand re launch I thought this would be a perfect time to give it a go and to learn a new skill. After doing some research I found a lot of YouTube tutorials, but one in particular stood out. William Paterson who is a Graphic Designer and logo designer, has produced some of the best hand lettering I have seen and his YouTube tutorials have inspired me to give it a go myself and that is where I got the inspiration for my Re brand.
